Sierra Cortina Resort - Finestrat

Accommodation and facilities are excellent and ideal for families wanting to stay near Benidorm but in a quieter location. My 2 friends and I stayed at the Sierra Cortina Resort for 2 nights only and given the short stay we didn't hire car (which would certainly be required if tsaying longer), nearest shops, restaurants etc...are about a 30min walk away. Finestrat beach is another 15min walk, so in total 45mins from scr. For a 2 night stay the rate may seem a liitle pricey (£88 per person for 2 nights) but in returned we had a 3 bed apartment (1 db & 2 twins), 2 bathrooms, kitchen, spacious living area and outside balcony, with a great view overlooking Finestrat and Benidorm coastlines. The mountains in the background also complimented the overall scenery and views.

No shops nearby, nearest is a 30min walk. However there are 2 restaurants onsite serving lunch & diner and a bar where you can purchase drinks, bottles of water and ice creams to take away. We were told by the receptionist that the spa facilities including tennis, gym, indoor pool and jacuzzi etc....were available for us to use at an additional cost, however this was not stated when we booked and therefore we assumed we would not be charged extra ?

No reception open on Sundays so why take Sunday bookings? Had to check-in with gatekeeper!!!! Not Hotel at all but lots of apartments.Booked one bedroom apt but got two bedroom with no clean towels and one bedroom with unmade bed and dirty bedsheets
